Statement on the Appointment of Media Officer

The African Democratic Alliance for Freedom and Progress (ADAFP) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Christian Aime Chofor Che as Media Officer, effective April 22, 2026.

This appointment, made by the President and the Bureau (Executive Committee), is for an initial term of one year, subject to review and possible renewal.

In his role, Mr. Che will support the implementation of the Alliance’s communications strategy, ensuring clear, coherent, and effective communication across all structures of the organization in coordination with the Secretariat. He will also lead efforts to strengthen ADAFP’s media engagement by developing a database of leading media institutions across Africa to enhance visibility, information sharing, and strategic partnerships.

Additionally, Mr. Che will oversee the Alliance’s digital presence, including the management of social media platforms and the production of high-quality content such as press releases, statements, and publications that reflect ADAFP’s work and impact.

The Alliance expresses its confidence in Mr. Che’s ability to contribute meaningfully to strengthening ADAFP’s communications, visibility, and overall institutional branding, and looks forward to a productive collaboration.
