Board
Dr. Hakima El Haite is Chair of the Board of Trustees of the African Democratic Alliance for Freedom and Progress (ADAFP), and one of Africa’s most prominent leaders in climate policy, international governance, and liberal political cooperation.
Dr. Mamadou Lamine Bâ is a Senegalese political leader and former President of Africa Liberal Network (ALN), who serves now as a Member of the Board of Trustees of ADAFP, contributing to the Alliance’s strategic guidance and long-term vision.
Olivier Kamitatu Etsu is a senior Congolese political leader and Member of the Board of Trustees of ADAFP, bringing extensive experience in governance, democratic transition, and international political cooperation.
Johan Van Hecke is a Belgian liberal vetran and Member of the Board of Trustees of ADAFP, bringing decades of experience in European and international politics, as well as a strong engagement with Africa.

Mmusi Maimane is the President of the African Democratic Alliance for Freedom and Progress (ADAFP) and is the leader of Build One South Africa (BOSA), a political party focused on inclusive development and reform.
Nabil Adel is Deputy President of the African Democratic Alliance for Freedom and Progress (ADAFP), a distinguished economist, academic, and policy expert with extensive experience in finance, governance, and geopolitical analysis.
Mouhamadou Faye serves as Deputy President of the African Democratic Alliance for Freedom and Progress (ADAFP). He is the First Vice President of LDR YEESAL in Senegal.
Eddie D. Jarwolo is the Secretary General of ADAFP and the Executive Director at Naymote Partners for Democratic Development, a non-profit organization promoting democracy, inclusive governance and elections in Liberia and allover Africa.
Adil Abdel Aati serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the African Democratic Alliance for Freedom and Progress (ADAFP). He is the founder and strategic adviser of the Sudan of the Future movement.
Amal Nasir serves as Treasurer of the African Democratic Alliance for Freedom and Progress (ADAFP), bringing extensive experience in financial management, institutional governance, and organizational leadership.
Abdoul Kader Makanera serves as the Acting Treasurer of the African Democratic Alliance for Freedom and Progress (ADAFP), contributing to the financial management and institutional development of the Alliance.
Jawad Chafil serves as Coordinator of the African Democratic Alliance for Freedom and Progress (ADAFP), playing a key role in supporting organizational development, coordination, and outreach across the continent.
