Statement about Confirming the Membership of ASOLI PROGRESSIVES PARTY in ADAFP

The African Democratic Alliance for Freedom and Progress (ADAFP) has formally confirmed the admission of the ASOLI PROGRESSIVES PARTY (APP) of the Republic of Namibia as a member of the Alliance.

The admission of APP was approved by the Executive Committee in accordance with Article 11 of the ADAFP Governance Charter, adopted at the Founding General Assembly held in Casablanca on 13 February 2026.

With this admission, APP joins a growing network of African organizations working collectively to advance democratic governance, protect fundamental freedoms, and promote social and political progress across the continent.
