Under their leadership, the Assembly conducted detailed reviews and formal acknowledgments of the submitted documents.
The General Assembly acknowledged the important papers and declarations presented by:

* Mr. Eddie D. Jarwolo, including the proposed ADAFP Youth Assembly framework
* The National Trend Party of Sudan, Position Paper

These contributions provided substantive policy guidance on information governance, democratic consolidation, institutional reform, youth leadership development, and electoral transformation.
Resolutions Adopted
The General Assembly unanimously adopted the following resolutions:
1. Resolution Congratulating the Kingdom of Morocco on its election to the African Union Peace and Security Council, recognizing Morocco’s constructive role in advancing peace and stability across the continent.
2. Resolution on the Situation in Sudan
The Assembly strongly condemned the aggression and human rights violations committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), called for the cessation of foreign support to armed actors, urged expanded humanitarian assistance, and expressed solidarity with Sudanese democratic forces striving for civilian democratic transformation.
3. Resolution on the South Sudan 2026 General Elections
The Assembly endorsed the democratic coalition led by Hon. Peter Mayen Majongdit and expressed political support for peaceful, transparent, and competitive elections scheduled for December 2026.
The General Assembly also listened to a report from the Republic of Congo on the eve of the upcoming elections there and formally declared its political support for ADAFP member parties contesting elections in the Republic of Congo and elsewhere in Africa, reaffirming its continental commitment to democratic pluralism and credible electoral processes.
Resolutions Referred to the Executive Committee
Two draft resolutions were referred to the newly elected Executive Committee (EC) for further review, evaluation, and structured implementation planning:
* Resolution on the Establishment of the ADAFP Youth Assembly
* Resolution Mandating the Executive Committee to Implement an Institutional Development Program (2026–2029)
This referral underscores the Assembly’s determination to ensure institutional sustainability, financial viability, and measurable outcomes over the 2026–2029 mandate.
Closing Address by the President
The General Assembly concluded with a closing address delivered by President Mmusi Maimane, who emphasized the necessity of unity among member parties and unwavering adherence to the founding values embodied in the Casablanca Declaration — the core principles document of the Alliance.
President Maimane stressed that institutional discipline, solidarity, accountability, and fidelity to democratic values will determine the credibility and long-term success of ADAFP as a continental political platform.
The Secretariat announced that all adopted resolutions, declarations, and official documents will be circulated to member parties and made publicly accessible within 48 hours.
Following the formal conclusion of proceedings, delegates attended a farewell tea reception graciously hosted by the Deputy President, Mr. Nabil Adel.
With this, the founding General Assembly of ADAFP successfully concluded its historic two-day session, formally launching a new structured continental platform committed to democracy, freedom, institutional governance, and Pan-African cooperation.
