
Stevens Mokgalapa serves as Assistant Coordinator of the African Democratic Alliance for Freedom and Progress (ADAFP), contributing to the Alliance’s international outreach, coordination, and strategic partnerships.
He is a senior political and organizational leader in South Africa, currently serving as Head of International Relations and Executive Committee Member of Build One South Africa (BOSA). In this role, he is responsible for strengthening global partnerships and positioning the organization within regional and international networks .
Mokgalapa previously served as President of the Africa Liberal Network (ALN), where he played a key role in advancing liberal democratic values, fostering cooperation among political parties, and promoting governance reforms across the continent.
With a strong academic background in international relations and political science, and extensive experience in leadership and organizational development, he brings a global perspective to political engagement and institutional building. He also serves as Chief Executive Officer of Brandhill Africa Group, combining political leadership with private sector experience .
Throughout his career, Mokgalapa has been actively involved in promoting democracy, strengthening international cooperation, and supporting reform-oriented political movements across Africa.
As Assistant Coordinator of ADAFP, he plays an important role in enhancing coordination among member organizations, expanding the Alliance’s international engagement, and supporting its mission to advance freedom, democracy, and sustainable development across Africa.
