
Eddie D. Jarwolo serves as Secretary-General of the African Democratic Alliance for Freedom and Progress (ADAFP), bringing extensive experience in democratic governance, civic engagement, and institutional reform across Africa.
He is the Executive Director of Naymote Partners for Democratic Development in Liberia, a leading civil society organization dedicated to promoting accountable leadership, inclusive governance, and credible electoral processes. With a strong background in policy analysis, organizational development, political campaigns, and community mobilization, Jarwolo has established himself as a key figure in advancing democratic accountability in West Africa.
Jarwolo holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Cuttington University and has led numerous initiatives focused on transparency, youth engagement, and public sector accountability. Through his leadership at Naymote, he has contributed to strengthening the link between citizens and institutions, particularly in monitoring political commitments and electoral processes.
As Secretary-General of ADAFP, Jarwolo is tasked with coordinating the Alliance’s continental strategy, fostering collaboration among member organizations, and translating shared democratic values into concrete actions. He emphasizes the need for practical, results-oriented cooperation to address key challenges facing Africa, including governance deficits, corruption, democratic backsliding, and youth exclusion.
Under his leadership, ADAFP aims to build a coordinated yet decentralized network that strengthens institutions, promotes transparency, and advances freedom, democracy, and sustainable development across the continent.
