About the Leader
Jawad Chafil is a Moroccan politician, entrepreneur, and advocate for youth development and social inclusion. Based in Casablanca, he is actively involved in the Africa Liberal Network and serves as the President of YALDA Morocco (Youth Alliance for Leadership and Development in Africa).
Jawad is a former Youth Liaison Officer for the Union Constitutionnelle (UC) party in Morocco and has been involved in organizing local OJC (Organisation Jeunesse Constitutionnelle) branches.
Following a decade in the Asia Pacific region, he returned to Morocco in 2013 and later founded GATS in 2019, a company focused on transit, logistics, and intermodal solutions. He is passionate about entrepreneurship, climate change awareness, and promoting the "brain gain" initiative to encourage skilled, educated youth to contribute to Morocco's development.
Jawad has participated in international forums, such as the Youth Political Academy in London, to promote liberal values and improve political campaign management.
