Naymote Partners for Democratic Development

Ms. Omolara Balogun currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Naymote Partners for Democratic Development.

Naymote Partners for Democratic Development is one of Liberia’s leading grassroots pro-democracy organizations, founded in 2001 by student leaders and activists. The institution works to strengthen citizens’ understanding of democratic processes and promote long-term civic participation. Through nationwide programs on political accountability, youth and women’s empowerment, peacebuilding, and human rights, Naymote has helped make elected leaders more responsive, built the capacity of local authorities, and expanded citizen engagement in public decision-making.
Using community organizing, civic education, research, and innovative youth outreach—such as debates, theatre, sports, and public dialogues—Naymote empowers communities to advocate for positive change and resolve conflicts peacefully. The organization is a registered national non-profit and an active member of national and international networks, and is managed by experienced professionals dedicated to advancing democratic governance and sustainable development in Liberia.
