The Al-Adl Party (Justice Party) in Egypt is a centrist, liberal-leaning political party formed after the 2011 revolution to bridge the gap between Islamist and secular camps, promoting a "third way". It emphasizes social justice, decentralization, and democratic reforms, aiming to protect the goals of the January 25 Revolution.
The party Positions itself as a centrist, liberal, and, to some extent, modern Islamic party, rejecting the intense polarization between Islamist-dominated groups and liberal-dominated blocs.
Formed by youth activists and liberal figures following the 2011 ouster of President Hosni Mubarak. The Hustice Party focuses on creating a civil, modern state, promoting social justice, improving education, and implementing economic development.
Initially sought a "Third Way" coalition, and aiming to appeal to moderate voters who favored both Islamic values and a non-theocratic, civil state, Al Adl has participated in various electoral coalitions, including the Wafd-led alliance, though it has also experienced internal debate over election participation.
