Mouhamadou Faye serves as Deputy President of the African Democratic Alliance for Freedom and Progress (ADAFP), representing a new generation of African political leaders committed to democracy, liberal values, and institutional reform.
He is the First Vice President of LDR YEESAL in Senegal, where he plays a key role in advancing political reform and strengthening democratic governance. His election to the continental vice presidency reflects both his personal leadership and the growing influence of Senegal as a central actor in promoting democracy and the rule of law in Africa.
Faye studied at Université Cheikh Anta Diop, one of West Africa’s leading academic institutions, and is actively engaged in political organization and policy development. His appointment also highlights the broader contribution of President Modou Diagne Fada in advancing liberalism across Africa and internationally.
Through ADAFP, Mouhamadou Faye works alongside fellow leaders to strengthen the liberal democratic ideal, promote cooperation among reformist forces, and support the Alliance’s mission of fostering freedom, good governance, and sustainable development across the continent.
